Pinot Gris "Tika's Run"

Pinot Gris “Tika’s Run”

Tikka was Eric Lemelson’s Great Pyrenees dog who loved to patrol the perimeter of the Pinot gris vineyards. This wine is a tribute to her. Tikka’s Run Pinot gris is sourced from Chestnut Hill Vineyard, the highest elevation site. By farming our Pinot gris at high elevation, the wine’s minerality and crisp nature is preserved. The 2024 Tikka’s Run Pinot gris shows bright pear, lemon peel, white peach, and white flower notes that flow into a long, mineral and citrus-driven finish. A good fraction of this wine was barrel fermented helping to round out the richness of this Pinot gris and bring it into balance with the wine’s refreshing, acidic backbone.
